I would like to complete my Student-Ranking Structure but the given colors do not match my certificates... neither in colors nor in Number of possible ranks!
Since different organisations/associations use different colored progressions, wouldnt it be better to use the Geup / Kŭp / 급 structure?
I would suggest a Student-Ranking Structure from 10th Geup to 1st Geup... (like it is done on the Judo Checker SIte with the Kyu system...)

8th Keup Yellow
7th Keub Yellow-Green Tip
6th Keub Green
5th Keub Green-Blue Tip
4th Keub Blue
3rd Keub Blue-Red Tip

Is there a way to programm it in such a way that it will not be sorted by color but according to the dates when the color was given?

Yes. I went: 8th Keup Yellow 7th Keub Yellow-Green Tip 6th Keub Green 5th Keub Green-Blue Tip 4th Keub Blue 3rd Keub Blue-Red Tip 2nd Keub Red 1st Keub Brown
We intentionally left out "half-belts" as there would just be too many. However, you can add tip/stripes to the belts already, but they will not be a separate belt record.

No the system requires a rank progression to work. But if brown belt comes after red belt (for those who use a brown belt), I can switch those around. Although as far as I can see, brown->red seems like the most common progression?

Don’t know - I ve only seen brown after red or as an equivalent to red...
