Hi,
Could the 'Competition Medals Page' have a simplified version for us retired oldies perhaps?
Years back I listed my medals won and other achievements (see http://www.raynerslanetkd[...]edals.html) and packed all the medals & trophies away. I would happily transfer the details to this site, to add to my profile, but whilst I could probably remember the locations, knowing the month or day for a medal won 20 years ago (or even less) is nigh on impossible, even if I did dig them out from storage.
Perhaps, if a simplified page can't be done, maybe a 'leave blank' option on some of the boxes could be an idea? :)

You can just enter an approximate date and write "Don't remember" or "-" for those fields you don't remember :)

Thanks for reply. Personally I`d rather not guess a date, as things like that can look dodgy to others. Can the dropdown boxes not also include a '-' as well as months/days perhaps.. that would solve it nicely :)

What we did(me and my kids) was to put “some kid” in the name box. First of all for not remembering the names, and second to not name tag kids under 13 in a website. The norm in Norway is not to make competition results public for kids under 13 years.
But in future competitions it can be fun to see who met who in witch competitions. Like you can see in online competition sites like sportdata and smoothcomp.
Do smoothcomp organize TKD by the way? I need to check that!

From a technical point of view that would be a bit too complicated / low on the priority list right now, sorry :)

Okay, spent the morning and a couple of hours this afternoon cross referencing stuff and listed all medals won until I fully retired.
It took a while (I even found I hadn't listed some on my own site lol).
It made me think however, could a similar page be made to simply list achievements in TKD, as some students/instructors don't compete much (or havn't) but may have done lots of other things, for example, they could list their first students to gain BB under them, how many BB's have gone from white to black belt under them, things they have done for charity (via TKD) etc.
Thoughts?

Hi Roy,
I wasn't talking about listing others (I dont even know how to do that). Plus, whilst I remember lots of the people I competed against, I couldn't say who was the one I won/lost to at a certain event, after all these years. :/
